PANELISTS
 

Blaire Cano is a seasoned leader with 15 years of experience driving successful data transformation initiatives in complex organizations. She specializes in bridging the gap between data governance, data engineering, reporting, and analytics, enabling organizations to fully leverage their data assets. Her expertise spans from laying the foundational groundwork for data governance to ensuring advanced analytics readiness, empowering teams to unlock actionable insights at scale. Throughout her career, Blaire has led cross-functional teams in transforming data strategies and systems, driving efficiencies, enhancing data quality, and fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making. She is passionate about helping organizations navigate the evolving landscape of data, ensuring that governance and engineering frameworks are seamlessly integrated with analytics processes to create sustainable and impactful data ecosystems.

 

 

 

Deron Hook is a certified data management professional who is passionate about people, data, and formulating strategies that utilize both to their highest potential. He is currently on the User Experience team at Atlan and has experience creating foundational data governance programs at various companies in the financial services industry. In his current role, he advises clients in building out their data governance program using foundational initiatives such as metadata management, data ownership, and data quality management. Also, Deron is a recognized data leader, is the current President of DAMA Phoenix, Regional Coordinator for the USA West Region for DAMA International, and was a Chief Data Officer (CDO) summer school graduate by Carruthers & Jackson. He received his MBA with a concentration in data analytics from Purdue University and is also a proud Brigham Young University graduate and sports fan. He and his wife have five children and live in Phoenix, Arizona.

 

 

Mayur Patel has nearly two decades of dedicated experience in IT delivery and business technology solutions, Mayur has a diverse set of experiences in business development, account management, client relationship management, and IT consulting. His expertise spans multiple industries including Banking, Financial Services, Software & Technology, and Healthcare, primarily within the United States. Previously at American Express, Mayur is the Director of Engineering, focusing on Data and AI, at GoDaddy.

For over 25 years, this focus has established a record of accomplishment in multiple industries including Insurance, Banking, Captial Markets, Financial Services, Oil & Gas, Transportation & Logistics, Manufacturing, Hospitality & Gaming, and Telecom. Solomon has extensive experience with Data-driven Transformation Initiatives, Data value/strategy creation, and implementation, Enterprise Architecture, Master and Reference Data Management, Data Governance and Data & Analytics factory customization and implementation. Solomon is also a DAMA CDMP Fellow, and has published numerous articles in the Data space, along with speaking at conferences.
